At Wangduephodrang
The Annual Review Meeting (ARM) for the Communicable Disease Division under the
Department of Public Health was held in Wangduephodrang from 17-19 May 2017 on the theme
“Towards Integrated and Harmonized Approach in delivery of public health services”.
The objective of the Meeting;
- To update on the progress achieved under each disease control programmes under
Communicable Disease Division, with emphasis on TB, HIV/AIDS and Malaria.
- To assess the progress achieved in the elimination of diseases at verge of elimination; eg,
Malaria, Measles, Leprosy and Rabies.
- To identify areas of opportunity for consolidation and integration of disease programmes
for better programmatic output.
- To identify and discuss on the priority issues concerning communicable diseases and the
way forward.
