The Global Fund mission visit was in Bhutan. Ms Lindsey Cole, FPM met various officials in country. The objectives of her visit was to:
- Finalize HIV grant negotiations
- Confirm government co-financing commitment for 2017-2019 allocation
- Conclude discussions on Wambo government co-financing pilot
- Support preparations for CCM re-election
- Meet with three disease programs to discuss next steps with grant approvals/planning
- Meet with Lhaksam/other representatives of HIV key populations group
- Visit BHUs in Punakha and Wangdi and see TB/HIV program in action.
